Designs to the Nines offers both wood and  composite shutters in both elliptical and S-curved louver shapes. Only the finest hardwoods are used in our shutters, and the Normandy hardwood shutters and the Sussex hardwood shutters, are available in both painted and stained finishes. The furniture quality catalytic finishes are specifically formulated to resist fading, cracking and damage caused  by the sun's harmful rays.

The Woodlore shutter, our composite shutter, resists moisture, discoloration, fading, cracking and warpage. The color is built into the material so it never needs to be refinished. Woodlore composite shutters are the ideal solution for high humidity applications such as bathrooms, steam rooms, and other severe environments. And all of our shutter lines coordinate their colors and styles so that you can have the correct shutter for any application without compromising on environmental and aesthetic considerations. 

Designs to the Nines shutters feature elliptical louvers for tighter closing and warpage resistance. Our Woodlore shutters offer an optional s-curved louver for superior room darkening.
