Duette Cellular Shades

Hunter Douglas Window Fashions introduced Duette, the first cellular shade fabric, more than 20 years ago. Inspired by the pleated shade, the Hunter Douglas Duette improved the pleated shade's design by sandwiching the lifting cords between two or more layers of fabric, thereby increasing light control, protection of the cords from sun damage and vastly  improving insulation and sound absorption qualities. Duette comes in single, double and triple cell fabrics. With over forty-one fabrics available in 3/8, 3/4 and 1 1/4" pleat sizes, you're sure to find a Duette to complement every room whether home or at  the office. Duette also features 8 lifting systems, from the standard cord-lock, to the Powerise motorized remote control lifting system.

Duette cellular shades can dress specialty shaped windows, such as arches, angles and circles. Duette also features other specialty applications like Skyline, for architectural skylights, and Vertiglide, for sliding glass doors, or other large glass expanses. A more recent innovation to the Duette line of cellular shades is Architella. Architella features cell within a cell honeycomb construction thereby producing more consistent color rendering. Architella also increases insulating R value by 12 percent over Duette shade fabrics.

Hunter Douglas is now offering optional hardware finishes, Gold Radiance, Silver Reflection and Bronze Shimmer that will complement and enhance every decor. And remember, almost all of Hunter Douglas window treatments meet the Greenguard Environmental Institutes' stringent Indoor Air Quality and Sustainability standards for both homes and schools.
